WHO ARE WE?
At the beginning, it was just a hobby. I enjoy collecting rocks. I am not a geologist, nor am I a rockhound, but I am quite simply someone who picks up nice looking rocks whenever he goes out. I have boxes, and boxes full of rocks, pebbles and various assortments of goodies that I have picked up on walks, hikes, holidays and also from others as gifts.
It got to the stage where I wanted to do something with them, so I started to turn them into something wearable.
WHAT DO WE DO?
The process is pretty straightforward. I either find or receive a rock and I tumble it to a smooth finish. I don’t want to shape the rocks manually, because I don’t want to take too much away from what nature intended. This allows me to make completely unique pieces, even if they are from the same source. The smoothing process can take up to four weeks alone, and the follow-up stages (turning the ‘new’ stone into something that can be worn) takes about another week.
